Jake Colvin leads the organization’s engagement with the World Trade Organization, Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation forum, and policy work on intellectual property rights, environment issues, the digital economy and Cuba. He is also Executive Director of the Global Innovation Forum, through which he works with startup, education and nonprofit leaders to explore the opportunities and challenges associated with participating in the global marketplace in the digital age. As a fellow with the New Ideas Fund, he authored “The Case for a New Cuba Policy,” a road map for the Obama Administration to engage Cuba. Jake has provided analysis on U.S. Cuba policy for outlets including NBC News, CNN, NPR, the Miami Herald and Time Magazine. He is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies and the University of Richmond.
